The road to progress is paved with broken rules, and with Berlin label kimidori's line of fine, industrial-inspired furniture made from upcycled shipping pallets, challenging convention has never been so chic. Designed by London-based creatives studiomama and produced by kimidori with an eye on the environment, the Pallet Chair is made from a shipping pallet that has been deconstructed, sanded, treated with organic oil, and reassembled into two pieces that slide comfortably together without the need for tools. Since when has sustainability been about replacing trees you've already cut down? Sustainable in the truest sense of the word, this chair turns existing wood from what would have been an industrial waste product into progressive elegance.
